Loaning Program

The BRRC offers a variety of equipment that can be loaned out for free!
To loan a piece of equipment, we require a damage deposit in either cash or cheque that will be returned to you upon the safe return of the equipment, in the same condition that it was loaned to you. We also require a signed loaning agreement and a photocopy of your license.  
 

 
Available Equipment:

 Cross Country Ski Sets
We have 6 sets for cross country skiing. The set includes shoes, poles and skis. If we don't have your ski boot size, we recommend you loan a size up.
Sizes available:  7, 7.5, 8.5, 9.5, 10, 10.5
 Cross Country Ski Sets
 Snow Shoe Sets
We have 22 sets of snow shoes. They come in a variety of sizes, and are rented out based on the users weight. 
 
 Pilates Step Bench 
We have 3 pilates step benches with an assortment of risers.
These are great for HIIT training, injury rehabilitation or a new addition to your normal at-home work outs.
 
 Free Weights and Weight Bars
 
There is an assortment of 3 lbs, 4 lbs and 5 lbs free weights. 
There are weight bars that are 15 lbs and 18 lbs.


 
 
Bosu Balls & Exercise Balls
 
There is an assortment of exercise balls and bosu balls. These are great for balance related exercises or a twist on your typical workout. 
 
 
Exercise Mats
 
There is a small assortment of 'puzzle piece' and 'apple' gym mats that can be used in your home workout space. 
 
 
Dehydrators
 
There are three 9-shelf food dehydrators available. They include the shelves, silicone mats for dehydrating liquids, dehydration instructor guides and recipe books. Great for fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, seeds or making things like jerky and fruit roll ups.
 
Bikes
There are 6 kid bikes (2 small, 4 medium) and 4 adult bikes available to loan for 3-days at a time and include helmets. Bikes and helmets will be available for loaning in May 2021.
The BRRC Bike loaning program is supported by the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and Brokenhead River Community Foundation.
