Please be advised that road reconstruction is underway on Banas Drive, between Garson Drive and Carol Way. Work commenced on June 15, 2026, and is expected to last 4–6 weeks, weather permitting.
We sincerely apologize for the delay in providing this notice due to a communication error with the Rural Municipality.
Important Access Information
While the road will be closed to general through-traffic, residents at 228 Garson Dr., 15 & 17 Banas Dr., 3 Carol Way, and all homes on Dawn Way will always maintain access to their properties.
We recognize that these residents will be most impacted by the construction activity, and we are committed to ensuring you can enter and exit your homes safely throughout the project.
Traffic & Safety
Detours: Please use Kingsgate Row as the alternate route to the subdivision.
Site Safety: For the safety of everyone—especially children—please ensure that no one enters the construction site or plays near equipment.
Signage: Please respect all road closure signs and barricades for your safety and that of the work crews.
Project Phases
Work will proceed in the following order:
- Asphalt removal
- Ditching and new culvert installation (all approaches connecting to Banas Drive)
- Road excavation
- Placement and compaction of new granular material
- Pathway construction
- Asphalt paving
- Landscaping
The schedule provided is a best-case scenario and may shift due to weather or unforeseen site conditions. We will communicate any significant changes or delays directly to the affected residents and business owners.
