Under the theme Empowering organizations with tools for the future, the day offers practical, hands-on sessions for board members, staff, and volunteers:
- Governance 101: the fundamentals every board member should know, including roles, legal responsibilities, and common traps.
- Leadership and Communication: an interactive workshop using the Enneagram to strengthen teams and build understanding.
- Telling Your Story: how to talk about your organization so donors, volunteers, and neighbours truly listen.
- Volunteer Engagement: current research on volunteer trends across Canada and new approaches to building your volunteer base.
