Heritage Families

The RM of Brokenhead Heritage Advisory Committee has identifed Families that own or reside on the same land that title for that land has been in the same family for 100 years or more.

This is not the same as Manitoba Heritage Farms or Century farms as that is a program that individual families must persue with the province and the Manitoba Historical Society.
Manitoba Heritage Farm Recognition Program

The 1920 tax rolls were compared to the current tax rolls to determine the families that qualify.  The committee will be confirming current ownership and residency.  A monument is to be erected at the RM of Brokenhead Office.
